In order to become a member of CAPTA, you must fulfill the following requirements:
1.You train pets other than your own, either as a volunteer or in a paid position. 
2.Provide a clear description of your training experience. 
3.Attendance at one event per year 
4.You live within or train pets in area code regions: 773, 312, 847, 630 or 708.
